Our Recipients

About Our Recipient Partners

All Colorado Farm to Table fresh produce is distributed at no cost to recipient organizations (also known as distribution partners) that are typically soup kitchens, churches, food banks and pantries. Currently, Colorado Farm to Table partners with 36 of these organizations. These distribution partners then re-distribute our fresh produce to the families and individuals who are the true recipients of the produce we grow specifically for them. Distribution covers much of Colorado including Montrose, Alamosa and the San Luis Valley, Leadville, Gunnison, Cripple Creek, Fairplay, Canon City, Divide, Woodland Park, Westcliffe, Saguache, Buena Vista, Salida, Ft. Carson, Fountain, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and southern metropolitan Denver. Transportation is then coordinated by our Volunteer Coordinator and is the responsibility of our recipient organizations.

A Word from Our Recipients

“Thank you so much for all that Colorado Farm to Table does to provide fresh prodice to individuals on the Western Slope. Sharing Ministries Food Bank is particularly proud to partner with Farm to Table by distributing this produce to low income families and 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, such as soup kitchens, food pantries and ministries that serve children and seniors…Sharing Ministries surveys our customers each January to get a perspective on what the needs of our customers are and how we can improve this food ministry. When asked what we can provide that would help supplement their family’s grocery needs, about 60% say more fresh produce.”
-Oneda Doyal, Sharing Ministries Food Bank – Montrose, Colorado

“We, at the Fairplay Adventist Community Food Bank, are so grateful for the produce that you provide to our clients in the Park County Area. We are proud to be able to share such nice produce with them and all are very appreciative of the food. Thank you so much for all the effort that you put into the work of not only growing and cultivating the produce, but in the effort of making it so available to food banks in your surrounding area.”
-Cheryl Carle, Fairplay Adventist Community Food Bank – Fairplay, Colorado

“The Denver Inner City Parish and the Food Exchange Resource Network have been recipients of produce from Colorado Farm to Table for the past 3 years. We have received over 15,000 ears of corn and 2,400 acorn squash to distribute to families in need through 13 different hunger relief organizations that operate in the Greater Denver area. Most of our recipients have limited access or cannot afford fresh produce. The assistance we have received from Colorado Farm to Table has been a real blessing and our partner organizations and their clients have come to rely on its contribution.”
-Larry Martinez, Denver Inner City Parish – Denver, Colorado
